Top 7 Smart Study Tips

 Top 7 Smart Study Tips

Laptop and study materials for smart studying

A lot of us Study hard but not smart. Studying smart is more effective as less time is spent and more knowledge is gained. So I prefer smart study to hardcore studying. I follow certain rules for studying smart. I would like to share those with you all. So here I present you 7 Smart Study tips:

1. Have a friendly Study Space:

A lot of people say that you need a very great and neat place to study. But those who can't afford to have a big study space also do well at exams. That is because they are friendly and used to that place. So you should have a place where you feel comfortable and not distracted. It can be your dining table (only if you are from a small neutral family), study table, bed, etc.

2. Read the way you memorize faster:

Many elderly people tell us to read loudly and some suggest to read being silent. But it is completely your choice and comfort. Read loudly if your neighbors are good enough to handle your shouting 😆. Read silently if you find that you can memorize faster in that way. Never get forced to follow a specific method. You have to give the exam, not the advisors.

3. Follow the time you prefer:

If you memorize faster at night, read at night. If you can memorize faster in the morning, read in the morning. Your parents may force you to read at a specific time following an average rule. But it's completely okay if you read at a different time. Every human being is different and so does their habits and ability to memorize.

4. Be Energetic:

After following the above-mentioned ways, you may start studying smartly. But never ever underestimate foods that give you energy. You may have coffee or green tea (the one you prefer). Drink plenty of water every day. Have foods that contain protein and calcium (egg, chicken, and milk). Stay hydrated, Stay Energetic, Stay Healthy. Happy Studying

5. Study Groups (Digital Tip):

At this present situation of Pandemic, we were forced to be online and on social media. But they are pretty much time-consuming. But we can use that time as well. Whenever we talk on the group chats, we will apply correct English Grammar. This will help us with English Grammar. You can also discuss different subjects and topics.

6. Time Management:

Sometimes we study for continuous hours and get tired and stay out of studying for days. But you should get familiar with the technique of Pomodoro time management. You gotta spend 45 minutes studying and then take a break for 15 minutes. And then again start studying following the same technique. During the break, you can drink water, give yourself a small treat, walk, use the restroom, etc.

7. Take notes:

Many of you take notes and some of you don't. But taking notes is a very good exercise for smart studying. You should make a draft of the notes in your notebook. You need to make sure the notes look neat and clean so that you can read. Then if you want, you can make a digital copy with software and websites like Microsoft Word (offline), Google Docs (Online), Notion (Online), etc.
